Announcing the 2026-2027 Mission Affordable Initiative at Jay Peak, Mount Washington, Powderhorn, SilverStar, Wintergreen and Wisp
For a decade, Pacific Group Resorts (PGR) has believed something that feels increasingly uncommon in the ski industry: Outdoor recreation should be more accessible, not less. That’s why Mission Affordable has guided decisions across PGR mountain resorts since 2016—from holding the line on lift ticket pricing, introducing lower-priced season passes, offering free Learn to Ski & Ride programs, and creating flexible, transferable products that make it easier for families and friends to spend time together on the mountain. It’s a commitment to not make skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golf, and mountain recreation become exclusive to a fortunate few. It’s a promise to reduce barriers to entry, preserve the unique character of every resort, and help ensure future generations have the opportunity to fall in love with the outdoors. Mission Affordable isn’t a campaign, it’s how PGR makes decisions. It’s so essential to PGR’s operation that the company recently added a registered trademark.
The 2026-2027 Mission Affordable lineup at Jay Peak Resort, Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, SilverStar Mountain Resort, Wintergreen Resort and Wisp Resort includes new options and a few popular standbys. Below is just a sampling of the Mission Affordable programs available at each resort for the 2026-2027 ski and snowboard season:
JAY PEAK RESORT, VERMONT

Rite of Passage: Ski Week: New for 2026-2027, Rite of Passage brings back the midweek Ski Week with room in the budget for an actual week. Ski Week stays start at $449 per night for a family of four, including lodging, lift tickets and Pump House Indoor Waterpark access, plus welcome parties, additional activities and resort-wide benefits. The program is available for select Sunday-through-Thursday stays from January 3 through March 25, 2027. Reservations must be made by Nov. 4, 2026.
Mission Affordable 4-Pack: Mission Affordable 4-Packs cover Jay’s major activities — lift tickets, ski or ride lesson packages and indoor waterpark access — presented neatly in a fully transferable or shareable package of four. Lift Ticket 4-Packs go on sale Oct. 14 and include four transferable single-day lift tickets for $329 (price increases Dec. 2, 2026). Look for additional 4-Pack options this season, including Indoor Waterpark 4-Packs.
Value Days Season Pass: Jay’s all-ages Value Days Pass is valid Monday through Thursday on non-holiday dates with prices starting at $459.

Learn to Ski FREE & Never Ever Days: The Learn to Ski FREE first-timers’ package includes a Beginner (Easy Acres) lift ticket for alpine or Nordic skiing, a group lesson and equipment rental ($25 CAD admin. fee is returned to participants as future resort credit). Additionally, the resort partners with the Canadian Ski Council to offer Never Ever Days on Friday afternoons at 4 p.m. for new skiers looking for a low-cost introduction to the sport (price TBA).
Mission Affordable 6IX PAK: The Mission Affordable 6IXPAK includes six deeply discounted shareable and transferrable activity tickets valid any day of the winter season for alpine or Nordic access. Split tickets with friends, share with family, or keep them for yourself. New this year: every ticket is valid for day and night use, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. daily. That’s $200 (CAD) in value! The 6IX PAK is $579 (CAD) starting Oct. 15, 2026 (price increases Dec. 1, 2026).
$5 Family Friday Nights: Mt. Washington offers $5 (CAD) tickets for kids on Friday nights (or just $15 CAD with rentals), ensuring the “family ski day” remains a reality rather than a luxury. Adults can ski for $25 (CAD) or $40 (CAD) with rentals on Friday evenings, 3:30-8 p.m.

Bob Beverly Free Learn to Ski & Ride Program: Created in honor of one of Powderhorn’s founders, this program provides first-time skiers and riders with up to three free days of group lessons, lift tickets and equipment rentals. Upon completion of the program, grads can purchase a Rookie Season Pass for $99 (valid only at Powderhorn). The following season (2027-2028) Rookie Season Passholders can purchase an identical Sophomore Season Pass for $199.
SILVERSTAR MOUNTAIN RESORT, BC, CANADA

Mission Affordable 4-Pack: The 4-Pack is SilverStar’s premier value pass. The resort has instituted a price-freeze on 4-Packs, which feature four fully flexible, unrestricted days on the mountain with no blackout days, plus free access to tubing, snowshoe trails, XC trails, fat biking and skating. SilverStar’s 4-Pack is $485 (CAD) for adults; $400 (CAD) for seniors and students; and $249 (CAD) for children until Nov. 27, 2026.
FREE Learn to Ski and Ride Program: Learning to ski or snowboard shouldn’t be a major financial gamble. We bypass the stress and fast-track progression by taking the cost entirely out of the equation.
$13 Night Skiing: Skip the daytime rush and progress at your own pace with a $13 (CAD) night ticket for the Silver Queen Chairlift, offering access to beginner slopes and the Bannister Terrain Park.
Tots Ski Free: Children ages 5 and under get complimentary lift tickets all season long. Upgrade to a Tot Season Pass for $35 (CAD), including unlimited tubing, skating, night skiing and more.

Fuller Experience FREE Learn to Ski & Snowboard Program: Fuller Experience is a FREE Learn to Ski or Ride program named after long-time Wintergreen team member, Rick Fuller. This initiative is designed to welcome, introduce, and guide first-time skiers and snowboarders to snow sports and includes two-hour group lessons, beginner area lift tickets, and beginner equipment rentals. Program grads can purchase a $99 Rookie Season Pass, a special Rossignol equipment package and discounted “Sophomore” Season Pass to keep them carving after their intro.

- Mission Affordable Season Pass: Unlimited access, 4 buddy tickets, sister resort reciprocal program, summer discounts.
